Experimental Video

Well looking over my 'journey' so far to this point, i think that the next step for me will be to start to think about some sort of 3D story. I think that it will be a good idea to use the characters from my music video as a basis as they are already made and in my opinion looked to a high standard.

Evaluation: Trial for Drawn 2D Stop Motion

Over all i don't think that drawn stop motion is my forte, and that i'm more successful doing 3D stop motion creations. I think that it will be beneficial for me to do exactly the same story as with the drawn stop motion but in 3D and compare the two and see which i think is more effective! The 2D video was not very good and I found that it was not very creative and did not stimulate my creative ability! I don't feel that this is going to stretch what i already know and can already do. I believe that 3D stop motion looks more professional and can tell a better story in a more exciting way!

Trial for Drawn 2D Stop Motion

Okay so heres the finished trial for the drawn 2D stop motion. It's not artistically good however it is just a trial to show I have tried this type of animation, it's a speedy little story that I just put together in an evening! I didn't particularly enjoy the process as it was very long and I don't think that it shows of what I can really do & achieve!

2D Stop Motion

Okay i am going to start to plan an experimental 2D stop motion video-probably will be to a nursery rhyme or something similar that i will be able to link directly the imagery with the words of the song.
I will try to start drawing this week to hopefully shoot at the weekend.
